Fraser, our Scottish assistant

About Me

My name is Fraser Boag. I am from Scotland and I am 19 years old. I was born in Hong Kong on the 21st of December, 1988. I am from a small town near Glasgow called Stewarton.

In Scotland, I go to The University of Glasgow, where I have been for 2 years. I have studied French, Russian, Economics and Astronomy.

I have come to France this year to work in 2 schools teaching English as an assistant, but mainly to improve my French. I am here until the end of next April. When I return to Scotland I will have another 2 years of French at University until I graduate.

The photo on the left was taken at my brother’s wedding, where I was the best man. I am wearing a traditional Scottish outfit which consists of a kilt, sporran, shirt, waistcoat, tie and jacket. People do not wear these often. I have only worn a kilt twice in my life.

In my free time I like to do a lot of different things. I love listening to music, my favourite band is The Smiths but I enjoy all types of music. I also enjoy watching TV, sit-coms in particular, and sometimes watch movies. When I have time, and when the weather is good, I like to play sports such as golf, tennis and occasionally football. But golf is my favourite sport.
